Have you used a Neighbourhood Mental Health Team in West Sussex? We want to hear about your experience
Have your say.
Share your experience.
Help shape better mental health support in West Sussex.
CAPITAL is inviting people who use mental health services and carers across West Sussex to share their experiences of Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams.
We are running a series of small online focus groups between October 2026 and January 2027 to hear directly from people who have used, or tried to access, local mental health support.
Your experience can help us understand what is working well, what could be improved and what people need from local mental health services.
Who can take part?
We would like to hear from you if you have recently:
- received care or support from a Neighbourhood Mental Health Team
- tried to access support from a Neighbourhood Mental Health Team
- cared for or supported someone who has used, or tried to use, these services
You may know these services by other names, including Emotional Wellbeing Service (EWS), Assessment & Treatment Service (ATS), Access Facilitator Service, Screen and Intervene Service, Lead Practitioner, Mental Health Support Coordinator or Navigator, or Secondary Mental Health Services.
What does taking part involve?
- Online focus group
- Around 90 minutes
- Small group setting
- Sessions taking place between October 2026 and January 2027
- A £25 voucher for everyone who takes part
You choose what you want to share. Your feedback will be anonymised.
There is no right or wrong experience to talk about. Whether your experience was positive, difficult, or somewhere in between, your voice can help contribute to improving local mental health support.
