Snap up the opportunity to join the 10 week creative course, this time in Crawley, starting in October
After the success of the A Different View course in Littlehampton, we are now focusing on the next course in Crawley, due to start in October. The course is a collaboration with Recovery Partners to offer a series of free ten-week creative courses for adults living with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or a history of psychosis.
These first courses will focus on photography, video, zine making and journalling.
The courses combine creative tasks with peer support for people living with serious mental illness – and there are opportunities for group and one-to-one mental health peer support throughout the courses, delivered by fully trained peer support specialists.
The community arts and peer support project aims to connect people with their wider community, engage them in fulfilling activities, inspire hope and engage people with the outdoors.
You can refer yourself for this group or you can be referred by a mental health professional you are working with.
